The boss told you something that you translated him into disrespect. and as a result created an emotion of anger, and conclusion, that the world was unjust. The event itself has no emotion, and conclusions, and, like life, is completely neutral. The conclusion, the reaction and the emotion are in you. That is what created the anxiety and mental pain. Understanding that there is another interpretation. that will not lead to anger and insult and unwise response. you can create another interpretation for the situation with the boss, who understands the mental distress he is in. This interpretation creates a sense of compassion, and more intelligent response, that will create a more comfortable reality for you and your boss. By doing so, you can create a wave of reactions, that affect and create a different reality in the workplace, in the life of that boss, in your life, and in fact a chain of reactions that affect the lives of all of us.
